Frequently Asked Questions
Why does some of
your music say copyright "New Century Music?"
When we first started this
company, we decided to call it New Century Music. We did a nation wide
search, checked with the state Washington and we thought the name was
free and clean and legal to use. About a year after we started the
company, we discovered that New Century Music is already owned by a
gentleman in Washington D.C. As a music publisher, and a firm believer
in the copyright laws of the United States, we decided to change our
name to comply with the trademark laws. It would be extremely costly to
reprint all the music we had already printed with the correct name so we
are trying to use it up as quickly as possible.
How can I submit music for
publication?
At this time, we are not accepting
music for possible publication. This will change in the future after
our online music downloading features are fully tested and
operational.
Why doesn't anyone ever answer
the phone?
Well, that's not totally true -
but this is a part time operation and most of the work is contracted out
to other companies. Therefore, someone is not always here to answer the
phone. We are all church music directors and professional musicians so
we have other responsibilities as well. |
